Malta

I just love vacations. We just returned from a week in Malta. What a lovely place. I could look at this view of Valletta for hours. And have. Perhaps I should say years. And I love the Malta buses. Classics. Cheap, reliable, a fun ride with the windows open.
We went for a cruise to Comino and the Blue Lagoon. The water is so blue and clear - you can see the bottom 20 feet down - and more. We swam and hiked around for hours. A truly lovely spot.

Here is a view from the tip of Valletta looking out of the Grand Harbour to the Mediterranean Sea.

We went to the Malta Air Show. The day was just beautiful with many fun planes. This is a firefighting plane from Italy.

Here are two Royal Air Force Tornadoes and the Swiss PC-7 team planes (the orange ones).
