Some Finnish finished objects!

Well, not all Finnish.  This is the unblocked Lace Leaf Shawl that was the project of the lace class I taught this summer at the Yarn Lounge.  It's a great project.

Here is the blocked version.  The stitch definition is much better.

These are Finnish socks - Finnish yarn and a Finnish river pattern - the designer writes "Kalajoki socks reflect the Kalajoki river which winds its way through Finland and empties into the Baltic Sea."  The yarn is from Leena with Riihivilla.  I bought it on our trip to Helsinki.  I love the right and left socks! These mittens are also yarn by Leena; the pattern is writtern by her mother.  The yarn is fabulous and the pattern is delightful.  One is a wee bit bigger than the other (oops!), but I love them.  Love them.
Yes, I'm still not able to negotiate the new blogger very well.  Blast.
