New project!

Well, I don't have the fun new camera handy, so here's the new sweater in progress in this yarn in Prairie Lupine. All purchased at The Yarn Lounge. I'm loving the pattern so far.

The secret gift is coming along well. With a new pin to go along.

New technology at our house

Anyone who knows us well knows we are not on the edge of the technology curve. Not in the total still water, but certainly not on the exciting crest.

After much hemming and hawing (a strong point for me - I can out haw the best of them), I bought a new digital camera. I was frustrated with my current wonderful camera because I couldn't get things close enough. From the usual perch of my sofa, the closest I could zoom in on little Wellington was this:

It does video, action shots and a whole bunch of stuff I'll never figure out how to do. My new favorite toy.
