I'm a pal
I have to start this post propping myself, because it is going to be a painful one. My friend has created a Half by Half initiative - "Here's my plan: I'm going to reduce my stash by half by a half-year from now." Then she solicited compadres. So, there you go. Here are the beginning photos (disregard the enormous ironing pile; that's a different project). Although baring quite a bit, I am still hiding quite a bit as I did not have anywhere near the requisite fortitude to empty all the bags/baskets in order to photo the entire stash. This is the secondary stash upstairs.
This is my working corner. Although smaller than the upstairs stash, this has much more yardage. Lots of laceweight and sock yarn eager to become something wonderful in the next six months.

Speaking of something wonderful, here is the progress to date on my first sweater. The pattern is from Interweave Knits; yarn is Lion Brand Cotton-Ease.
If nothing else, this exercise has certainly encouraged me to do some tidying!
